Construction of a new stormwater drainage supply network in Craddock Ave & Keverell Rd, Caulfield North.
Fercon has undertaken the construction of a new retention system with the Glen Eira precinct to manage flood control by temporarily storing excess stormwater runoff and discharging at a rate to not exceed the capacity of the downstream channel. On completion of drainage construction Fercon also reconstructed the full depth of both roads.
Works involved included:

• 250 metres of 1800mm diameter RCP
• 600 metres of 600mm diameter RCP
• 300 metres of 450mm diameter RCP
• 40 metres of 750mm diameter RCP by boring and jacking pipe
• 1,200 metres of concrete kerb and channel
• 1,800m2 of concrete remedial works
• 760 tonnes of new asphalt construction
